Join our team and help us make an even bigger contribution to Grünenthal's future.What the job looks like:Leading the tactical procurement part within the "Source to Contract" (S2C) process, such as e.G. executing RfQs, negotiating and contracting, for the area of Contract Manufacturing (ESO - External Supply Operations); Providing functional and operational support to assigned spend areas, acting as business partner and key contact for budget holders and leadership teams leading discussions and decisions with regards to S2C processes; Take responsibilityfor assigned spend area and support the ESO Organization with the guidance of procurement lead, supporting the development and execution of the respective strategies and conducting operational supplier performance management; Evaluating demand requirements raised by stakeholders and ESO Organization, informing, escalating and discussing requirements with procurement lead and global procurement team, while also conducting analysis / reports to identify bundling effects, framework contracts; Implementing procurement awareness amongst all relevant process stakeholders and ensuring compliance to standard processes, especially for Tendering and Contract Management including document management, and supporting vendor due diligence process and master data management for vendors; Contributing on change and continuous improvement initiatives for optimization of Global Procurement and the ESO Organization and the spend categories to increase efficiency and reduce costs.What you'll bring to the table:A University Degree in relevant fieldSolid experience in Procurement, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry in a comparable role or as category manager, with a focus on Contract Manufacturing businesses; Significant experience in managing and conducting larger negotiations as well as managing successful a high number of international suppliers; Relevant experienceto manage commercial agreements with Contract Manufacturers within the Pharmaceutical business; Practical expertisein procurement processes and in supporting to develop & implement category strategies; Understanding of supply markets, especially for CMO dosage forms (solids, sterile, etc.), and experience in working without formal line management (e.G
