About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager (B2B Sales) to join our international sales team to drive new business acquisition in the UK & Europe, identifying potential leads and closing high-value deals, contributing to the company’s growth in the region. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the company’s market presence, leveraging tech industry expertise, and establishing long-term client relationships.
Key responsibilities
1. Identify and target new business opportunities (B2B) by researching potential clients, attending industry events, and leveraging networking platforms.
2. Develop tailored B2B sales pitches and strategies to win new business while positioning the company’s tech solutions as the best fit for client needs.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at potential and existing client companies.
4. Lead negotiations to close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and the company.
5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs, feeding valuable insights back to the internal teams.
6. Track all sales activities in CRM software (we use Hubspot), ensuring accurate reporting of leads, opportunities, and closed deals.
7. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
8. Represent the company at major industry events such as ICANN, CloudFest, and other key networking conferences to build relationships and drive new business opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
1. Industry Expertise: Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation (preferably in Hosting/Domains/SSL or Tech industry).
2. Sales Expertise: Proven ability to meet or exceed B2B sales targets in a tech-driven environment.
3. Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the UK & Europe market and its unique business environment. There is potential for you to explore more markets in the future such as APAC, Africa etc.
4. Negotiation & Closing Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing high-value deals with Mid-Market and Enterprise companies.
5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex tech solutions in a clear and persuasive manner.
6. Relationship Management: Ability to build and nurture long-term professional relationships with clients.
7. Problem-Solving: Proactive and creative in solving client problems using tech solutions.
8. CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software (Hubspot) to manage leads, forecast sales, and report on progress.
9. Great communication skills: in English & any other languages are a plus.
