A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Cyber Security Business Partner, you will assist on a broad spectrum of cyber security support requests from digital communities in various Siemens Energy business units and functions, such as Information Technology and Enterprise Data & Advanced Analytics helping move cybersecurity activities forward. You will also participate in developing internal cyber security capabilities and strategy engaging pro-actively to strengthen the organization’s overall cyber security posture.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Understand the energy industry threat landscape and security risk for Siemens Energy, and provide advice and expert guidance to the business units regarding risk reducing measures.
2. Collaborate with internal digital departments like Information Technology or Enterprise Data & Advanced Analytics regarding the implementation of security measures and security strategies.
3. Guide and consult in the implementation of guidelines, standards, processes and concepts in the area of cyber security to advise executive management and other partners.
4. Carry out security analyses and review security concepts at system level for internal Applications or Infrastructure.
5. Translate security requirements into standard configurations and processes.
What You Bring
1. A university degree or equivalent experience in information technology, cybersecurity or a related field.
2. Professional experience across different functions and businesses with a minimum of 5 years in Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
3. Capability to work closely with the business units of Siemens Energy to drive the definition of technical standards and benchmarks for cybersecurity.
4. Good communication skills with the ability to describe technical concepts in simple terms both verbally and in written reports.
5. Intercultural awareness and ability to work in cross-functional, multi-national teams.
6. Ability to work closely in global networks and secure the implementation of cybersecurity solutions. Analytical and critical thinking capabilities to drive cybersecurity into the future.
7. Business-fluent English for an international environment focused on supporting global digital activities.
8. Knowledge about relevant cybersecurity standards and frameworks, such as NIST, BSI Grundschutz or ISO/IEC 27001.
9. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of time.
10. Cybersecurity certifications (CCSP, CISSP, ISMS Lead Auditor, ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent) are a plus.
11. Bonus: Experience in the design and implementation of pragmatic protection measures in IT domains.
