Job Title: Financial Auditor
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing department technology reviews, monitoring computer networks for mismanagement and fraud, and recommending changes to maximize resources or safeguard Company assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct technology audit examinations with staff and review results in compliance with the Institute Internal Auditors Standards.
* Develop audit programs to address audit plan risks identified.
* Create work papers in support of audit work.
* Exhibit situational awareness, flexibility, and collaboration in approach, adapting in difficult circumstances to achieve results.
* Ensure work is in compliance with systems, procedures, rules, objectives, and timescales set by the organization.
* Develop subordinates and provide on-the-job training and daily supervision of staff.
* Develop recommended changes in existing operational and/or financial policies and procedures to correct deficiencies or improve internal control.
* Manage various office administrative duties, including selection of audit projects, staff scheduling, cost control, and special projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum of six to eight years' experience in Accounting, Business, or IT.
* More than six years of experience in auditing in the public or private sector is desirable.
* Knowledge of CISA and other certifications (CPA, CA, CIA, CFE).
* Excellent audit skills and keen perception of procedures and methods when no policy or procedures are in place.
* Ability to cultivate respect and confidence from auditors and adapt to change effectively.
* Ability to think quickly with clarity under significant time pressure.
* Ability to work within an area of knowledge and expertise.
* Able to apply analytical/critical thinking and business acumen; understand the broader business environment.
* Fluency in English language.
