Your job would be performing cold and hot commissioning activities on industrial steam turbines, ensuring all equipment operates safely and reliably, meeting specified technical requirements.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Performing cold and hot commissioning activities of Industrial Steam Turbine and/or Combine Power Plants, ensuring safe, reliable operation of equipment and functionality as specified and technically necessary.
* Responsible for the Turbine Instrumentation and Control, implement cyber security concepts, standards, and regulations.
* Good analytical skills, as well as the ability to independently work out complex concepts and solutions.
* Troubleshooting hardware and software issues by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
* Commissioning and troubleshooting of Profibus/Profinet and Industrial Ethernet Network components, planning and executing firmware updates and upgrades.
* Execute modernization, upgrade of I&C turbine systems and developing testing & implementing the approved solutions.
What You Bring
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, specializing in electrical/control technology, power plant control and instrumentation technology, energy production and distribution.
* Preferably experienced in field service, especially in commissioning, instrumentation and control technology and networks systems.
* Flexibility and high willingness to travel and live abroad, worldwide, continuously and for several months (90% of the year abroad).
* Willingness to regular travel worldwide and to be away from home for long periods of time with short notice to mobilization (periods of 4 months).
* High level of written and spoken English, critical thinking, and good communication skills.
* Resilient, empathetic, team-oriented, valid passport and driving license, and interested in contributing to a successful energy transition.
