Looking for a motivated individual ready to bring a wealth of knowledge in engineering best practices and agile methodologies.
This role will include cross-collaboration with developing and testing teams and is the perfect role for a technically skilled developer with leadership experience, proficient in analysing, improving, and deploying automation test frameworks.Responsibilities:Design and implement comprehensive automated test suites.Integrate these test suites seamlessly with the current build and deployment pipelines.Ensure automated tests are updated to reflect changes in system architecture and design.Connect the automation framework with project management tools such as JIRA.Manage defect workflows, ensuring alignment with automated test execution.Develop and publish key metrics to track the creation and execution of automated tests.Create and implement performance testing suites.Conduct various testing types, including functional, API, automation, performance, and load testing.Qualifications5+ years of Quality Assurance engineering experience, having worked in Agile SDLC teams, preferably involving CI/CD pipelines.Background in the financial or banking sector is an advantage.Strong expertise in Java programming, with an emphasis on Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), and design patterns, ideally in a CI/CD environment.Proficiency in Java micro-services and REST APIs, with familiarity in React front-end development.Technologies: Java, JavaScript, IntelliJ/Eclipse.CI/CD tools: Maven, Docker, Git, Sonar, TeamCity/Jenkins.Testing tools: JMeter, JUnit, Protractor, WebdriverIO, or similar.Benefits:Competitive salaryPerformance based annual bonusEquityHealth and dental insurancePaid time offRemote (dependent on position)
