A Day in the Life
Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) is where it all started in Medtronic.
We are designing, producing, selling, and servicing implants and technologies for cardiac rhythm disorders as well as heart failure.
Examples are implantable monitors/loop recorders, pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, telecardiology equipment.
Innovation is key in Medtronic, and to optimally serve doctors and patients, the product pipeline is in continuous evolution.
CRM is offering a wide product portfolio to implanter cardiologists, electrophysiologists for state-of-the-art treatment of cardiac diseases.
In this exciting opportunity as a Sales Representative CRM, you will provide to our customers the last innovation related to Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure devices and help the Physicians device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring procedures, as well as the rest of non-clinical stakeholders in the purchase processes.
You will also collect market intelligence data, follow, and report competition activities.
The working territory will be in North Region of Portugal, and you will be preferably located in/near Porto.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within the assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targetsResponsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionalsResponsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or servicesPromote and establish education regarding the company's products and/or servicesConduct market research, including customer and competitor activitiesImplement market development plans/strategies and make changes as neededCommunicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and MarketingRequired Knowledge and Experience:
University degree in life-science, engineering (Cardiac Physiologist, Nurse, Biomedical engineering, electrical,) or other relevant degreeMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in a sales role in healthcare/medical (device) industryFluent in English and Portuguese (reading, conversation, and writing)Computer literacy is a mustClean driver's license: willingness to travel intensivelyWillingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians and provide expert technical support in the operating room in the hospitalsExperience in Cath lab procedures is highly valued.
Strong communication skills, the ability to effectively manage tasks, and motivation to build robust business relationships with customers are essential.
Being self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision is a must.
