Mission of the Role:
Program Manager for JLR current model projects
Key Objectives of this Role:
This position is for a Program Manager to lead the cross-functional program team(s) of product development, manufacturing, purchase, accounts, quality, and finance in managing program(s) currently in production with JLR.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading all program activities per VPDS & APQP
* Managing projects in all aspects of the business, technical, financial, and quality
* Representing the company in ISO Audits (internal & external)
Key Tasks:
* Monitor and ensure business profitability together with the Account Team
* Understand customer expectations and ensure these are part of the program plans
* Support in the identification and resolution of project organization and/or technical product development issues
* Provide support to the Account Manager in commercial negotiations, RFQ/RFI
* Provide program level support to customers and suppliers
* Chair Program Team and Change Control meetings
* Maintain an up-to-date Program Timing plan aligned with PD, Manufacturing, Purchase & Customer milestones
* Support Auto Spice Internal Audits
* Maintain or Improve Customer Relationships
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
* Degree in Engineering or related area
* Experience in delivering highly complex technical projects
* Advanced Excel and PPT
* Knowledge of automotive electronic products (preferable condition)
* Strongly driven for results, awareness of market and technology advancements/ commercially aware
