Company Description
You will be part of the Engineering team of the company, performing your mission at the customer’s premises, specifically at their HQ located in Brussels. The customer is an intergovernmental organization made up of 41 countries responsible for managing the Air Traffic Management network within Europe. You will be part of a multinational team in charge of validating new software functions required for this transformation.
Main Responsibilities
The system integrator will work on integrating different baselines delivered by various development teams and testing their interoperability. Responsibilities include:
* Working with technical documentation (interfaces) of each project.
* Preparing the environment for system verification testers.
* Handing over baselines to operational support for deployment into validation and later operations.
* Reporting to the technical team lead of integration under the guidance of a team leader.
Qualifications
The following qualifications are required:
* Good team member.
* At least 5 years of experience with software integration activities: integration, configuration, and installation of complex applications in a UNIX or LINUX environment.
* Participation in Functional and Non-functional testing.
* Experience with scripting languages such as ksh and Python.
* Experience with database systems and SQL, preferably in an Oracle environment.
* Knowledge of memory and thread management aspects of a server application.
* Familiarity with open-source test tools (Selenium, Junit, Jmeter).
* Experience with continuous integration (e.g., Jenkins).
* Microservice deployment (Ansible, Docker, Nexus, Gradle).
Knowledge or strong interest in the aviation domain is a clear advantage.
