Main activities:
– Lead the planning and execution of the transition of IT operations to a nearshoring location, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes;
– Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive transition plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies;
– Oversee the identification and mitigation of potential challenges and obstacles during the transition process, proactively finding solutions to ensure a smooth transfer of operations;
– Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure all technical and operational requirements are met during the transition, including infrastructure setup, data migration, and system integration;
– Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders, addressing any concerns and adjusting the transition plan as necessary;
– Develop and implement a robust communication strategy to keep all relevant parties informed throughout the transition process;
Profile and skills we look for:
– Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus;
– Proven experience in project management, particularly in the transition of IT operations, preferably within the banking or financial services industry;
– Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners;
– Solid problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges and risks;
– Fluent in english.
