Details – Hospitality, Sports, Leisure is the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports, and Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal. It oversees the management of major hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira, and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.
The Experiences Manager will be responsible for creating, managing, and enhancing guest experiences across a cluster of hotels in Vilamoura. This role involves developing unique and memorable experiences that align with the brand's standards and exceed guest expectations. The Experiences Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless execution of activities, driving guest satisfaction and loyalty. The Experiences Manager will report directly to the Cluster General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement innovative guest experiences and activities that reflect the brand's identity and cater to diverse guest preferences.
* Focus on small and unique guest gatherings, such as intimate dinners, private tours, and exclusive events.
* Incorporate local attractions and activities, including golf, sailing, tennis, and visits to cultural sites.
* Interact with guests to gather feedback and understand their needs and preferences.
* Address guest concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
* Work closely with the operations, marketing, and sales teams to align experiences with overall business goals.
* Train and support staff in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses to enhance the range of experiences offered to guests.
* Coordinate with local vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality and authentic experiences.
* Develop and manage budgets for experiences and activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
* Monitor expenses and adjust plans as necessary to stay within budget.
* Track and analyze the success of experiences and activities through guest feedback and performance metrics.
* Continuously improve offerings based on data and guest insights.
Key Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven experience in event planning, guest relations, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
* Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and event management software.
