The SAP OTC Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting the Sales and Distribution (SD) module within SAP ERP systems.
The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, configuring the system to meet those needs, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
The SAP Business Analyst provides ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system optimization to enhance business processes.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of business processes in sales and distribution and the ability to translate them into SAP solutions.
You work in close cooperation with other SAP Business Analysts who support other SAP processes/modules.
Besides maintaining the current SAP ECC system, you will play a key role in the transition to SAP S/4 Hana Cloud version.
Fundamentals Of The PositionBusiness Analysis and Process Design:Engage with business users to gather and document requirements for order-to-cash (OTC) processes.Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement or automation using SAP SD functionalities.Design end-to-end solutions that align with business goals and SAP best practices.SAP Configuration and Implementation:Configure the SAP SD module, including OTC processes, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.Customize settings for sales orders, contracts, pricing procedures, delivery, and invoicing.Integration and Testing:Ensure integration of SAP SD with other modules like MM, FI/CO.Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests (UAT).Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during testing and post-go-live.Project Management and Documentation:Participate in SAP SD implementation or rollout projects, following SAP Activate or other methodologies.Create and maintain functional specifications, technical documentation, and training materials.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time and within budget.Support and Maintenance:Provide post-go-live support, including issue resolution and system enhancements.Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations.Co-lead the OTC Key User Community, together with Business Process Owner.Train (key) users and key stakeholders on SAP SD processes and functionalities.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on new SAP releases, tools, and best practices.Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.Train (key) users and key stakeholders on SAP SD processes and functionalities.Miscellaneous:Align, support and keep close contact with your peer SAP Business Analysts with respect to system support, change requests, and projects.This role is to support sites across Europe, and occasionally travelling in Europe is required.To Be Successful You Will BringBachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification.At least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience with ERP systems.Strong knowledge of core SD functionalities such as sales order processing, pricing, billing, and logistics, including configuration and knowledge of interfaces with other SAP modules like MM, FI/CO and their integration with SD.Implementation of at least two full lifecycle implementations as SAP SD/OTC functional consultant.Experience with EDI and interfacing SAP SD with external systems.Advanced in English (verbal and written).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong client-facing skills with the ability to lead meetings and presentations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in documenting business processes, requirements, and test plans.What do we offer?Health InsuranceLife InsuranceMeal CardTransportation AllowanceOpportunity to grow.An Equal Opportunity Employer.
