An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Learning & Development Team within Hywel Dda University Health Board. We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Programme Development Coordinator to join the Learning and Development team. In this role, you will coordinate the design, delivery and evaluation of learning and development workstreams including Hywel Dda Manager, Making a Difference, INFORM learning opportunities and more.
We are seeking an organised and adaptable individual who will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess training needs and deliver creative solutions. You will be responsible for fostering a continuous learning culture, supporting staff to access high quality learning and development opportunities aligned with compliance and need.
The ideal candidate would have a background in healthcare education with evidence of leadership and a passion for learning and development. You will be joining a team of professionals who are passionate, inclusive and results-driven with a strong focus on collaboration.
Main duties of the job
The role requires coordination, innovation, creativity and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities from idea to implementation.
You will oversee the operational delivery of programme development, including courses such as Hywel Dda Manager, Making a Difference and INFORM. You will:
1. Work flexibly to ensure the delivery of the service E.g. in the office, at home, various sites across the Health Board.
2. Engage with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally, learning providers, external training providers and higher education institutions.
3. Support the development and implementation of new training programmes.
4. Support the creation of high-quality, engaging materials for a range of audiences.
5. Lead on quality assurance by auditing, monitoring, evaluating, and improving our Learning and Development offer.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Knowledge
* Degree, or equivalent in a relevant subject to Learning and Development (e.g. in Education, Workforce Development, Learning and Development, Careers or demonstrate equivalent experience/CPD).
* Postgraduate diploma level qualification in relevant area (e.g PGCE, L & D, Education) or experience of co-ordinating a Learning & Development department.
* Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation and an ability to communicate progress against outcomes.
* Knowledge of equality & diversity barriers in the context of workforce development.
* Thorough understanding of a range of PC software (e.g. Microsoft Office).
* Advice & Guidance and or Careers Guidance experience or qualification.
* Understanding of learning and development priorities in Wales.
Experience
* Experience in a management or leadership role.
* Experience of training and/ or skills development programme co-ordination and delivery.
* Group facilitation.
* Ensuring equitable access to development opportunities for all.
* Previous experience of developing blended learning and development interventions (including digital delivery).
