As a distributor, we are an essential link in the Business to Business IT market. We market hardware and solutions from our suppliers to IT resellers.
We provide know-how and expertise to all our partners to support them in their commercial and strategic development.
You will be joining the Global Finance team as a trainee. As an Accounting Intern, you will contribute to reliable and accurate Financial Statements, by supporting accounting and compliance reviews globally. In addition, you will play a key role in maintaining reports to track review of findings and ensure follow up is performed on management actions.
What will your missions be?
Financial Testing:
Prepare financial testing templates (journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.) for the team.
Extract populations, select samples and prepare supporting documentation.
Assist in conducting quarterly completeness checks of manual journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with key controls.
Maintain concise, up-to-date reports:
Assist in the development of the targeted procedures (in-depth review of identified risky accounts).
Update dashboards, monitor management action plans and responses for timely completion.
Effectively track, monitor and provide updates on different tasks and results.
Other responsibilities:
Assist the team with evaluation and implementation of new tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of our work, including exploring Artificial Intelligence-driven automation opportunities to streamline processes.
Support the preparation, launch, and maintenance of the team's internal communication platform.
Knowledge, skills and aptitudes required:
Graduating with a 5-year degree (Master's in Finance, Audit or Accounting).
Proficient level of English. Other languages are a plus.
Highly proficient in MS Office applications: Word, PowerPoint. Expert in Excel.
Proactive, and results-driven, willing to work autonomously and manage priorities.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent people skills with some experience in a multicultural environment preferred.
