Windows Basic is a legacy Windows 10 product part of the AXA Group Operations Workplace – Modern Device Product line department.
It is a worldwide deployed product representing ~80K devices, present across geographies, which technical configuration is mainly managed by 3 Integration Teams (engineering teams).
As part of the Workplace-Modern Device Product line, you will be the Product Owner in charge of implementing the strategy provided by the Product Manager (Device lifecycle management, improvements, management of AXA-internal programs such as Security requests, etc.) in coordination with the Integration Teams.
You will be jointly working with the integration teams whose mission is to deliver the technical solutions allowing to maintain the operations, and implementing remediations, improvements, new product features.
In this context, the Product Owner works with several Teams:
• The Product Management, that will provide you the strategy, vision and roadmap of the Product
• The Integration Teams (split by geographical areas) managing the implementation of the device configuration
• External actors such as AXA internal Programs representatives or partner entities: which are requestors of some projects to be handled by the engineering teams
MISSIONS
The mission is to bear the role of the Product Owner for Windows Basic product
The main objectives are to:
• Secure the Product Strategy implementation (coordination with the different technical teams from FR/Europe/Asia) and strengthen the team’s convergence with the Product Roadmap
• Build and maintain the backlog for the Windows Basic activities (projects, features delivery, technologies end of life management) according to the Product Roadmap and Group requirements
• In addition, build and maintain the backlog for the core product releases (Windows OS lifecycle management, M365 components, etc.)
• Create the items in the backlog of the feature team (Themes, Epics & User Story functional description)
• Build the release planning and communicate on the progression, the release content and the roadmap
• Be available and legitimate to quickly answer team’s queries on functional aspects of the User Stories
• Be the mirror Project Manager of customer’s project managers
• Participate in monthly Steering Committees, led by the Product Manager with Workplace Senior Management
• Technical Debt tracking: Follow-Up, reporting on the Windows Basic technical debt (eg. OS lifecycle management) & engaging communication actions toward our markets accordingly
• Communicate within the Internal Teams workspace (audience being the extended technical team delivering Windows Basic Product) about the above
• Consult with the integration team managers of Windows Basics and the Product Manager who drives the roadmap, in a "scrum of scrums" organization
For the backlog management related activities, the Windows Basic PO will be in charge of maintaining an iterative way of working with the following governance:
• A sprint planning during which he/she will prepare the sprint backlog content
• A sprint review for which he/she will prepare with the Feature Team a demonstration of the main items of the sprint
• A retrospective in which he/she will actively participate to work on team improvement actions
Your Profile
PROFILE :
We are looking for a Product Owner with below competencies/years of experience:
• Minimum 3 years of Workplace project management
• Functional knowledge of Workplace Modern device management solutions and IT domain
• Experience in agile methodology, acting as a Product Owner
• Analytical and synthetical mind
• Editorial skills
• Relational and organizational qualities, autonomy
• Fluency in English essential
• French as a nice to have
