Job purpose
Fujitsu seeks a highly skilled (preferably native English) content writer with extensive experience within the ever-evolving global tech sector. The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of AI tools with a keen interest in AI adoption. Able to handle ambiguity, you’ll extrapolate key messaging and create compelling content. The editorial aspect of the role will include proofreading content produced within the team to ensure quality and consistency.
As you will be supporting the strategic narrative, this role requires confidence in managing and engaging a range of stakeholders. Collaborative and flexible, you’ll work with conviction to influence where necessary.
A range of copy is required including strategic messaging, personas, keynotes, customer stories, whitepapers, customer dialogue presentations, manifestos, scripts and storyboards, social media, emails, blogs. Content must be tailored to suit the various regions, industries and functional areas of the businesses you’ll be producing content for.
Note that this position is Remote, but our candidates must be based in Portugal. We will not move forward with applicants based outside of Portugal.
The role holder will:
* Work with B2B leaders, marketing professionals and partners to develop content from concept to channel.
* Research to develop an understanding of individual clients/sectors and fact check.
* Deliver clear tone of voice and editorial position.
* Be comfortable using AI to create first pass draft content.
* Coach on effective AI prompting to optimize results.
* Have an uncompromising approach to the quality of all content produced.
* Story-telling – leading the narrative on B2B content development that respects our brand values and that of our customers e.g. customer success stories, video scripts.
* Can break down complicated technical topics into clear and impactful content for non-technical business stakeholders.
* Context-based - analyze requirements, engage stakeholders, produce relevant content to business needs.
* Digital Savvy - ability to apply a digital understanding to your work and use AI tooling.
* Flexibility – able to adapt content for print, video, web or social media.
* Set and manage expectations and facilitate discussions.
* Can give and receive constructive feedback.
* Technical proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Windows (on a PC environment), Teams, Copilot.
* Able to adopt new technology/tools e.g., ServiceNow, Asana.
Core Skills
* Degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or related industry experience such as communication and advertising.
* Interpersonal skills and confidence to interview stakeholders e.g., SMEs and customers.
* 10+ years experience in corporate or agency environment with a B2B technical and consulting content portfolio, writing on key focus areas such as AI, ML, sustainability, net-zero, digital-twin.
* Agency disciplines of time and client management.
* Agile cross team processes working on multiple projects and quality assuring content.
* Excellent eye for detail and accuracy in research, fact checking and content delivery.
* Delivery and customer focus - able to manage time, juggle multiple projects, quality first approach.
* Communication skills – can communicate effectively with stakeholders, set expectations and manage issues. Able to give and receive constructive feedback, facilitating the continuous improvement cycle.
* Resilience for problem solving, priority management, managing curve balls and keen deadlines.
