The Regional R2 R Analyst role is responsible for executing all relevant transactions associated with the General Ledger and the reconciliation of assigned accounts as per schedule, supporting other finance operations by providing timely reporting as needed.
This role interacts with a wide range of internal stakeholders including other internal finance teams, senior accountants and local business finance leads.
The role will support the business by understanding and implementing improvements, assist standardization efforts, while moving towards to standard Manpower Group processes and procedures, supporting Team Leads on improvements.
Additionally, the Regional R2 R Analyst will work collaboratively with internal and cross-functional Manpower Group teams at various levels, especially the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) R2 R team to fulfill responsibilities.
This role requires accounting knowledge and the ability to work independently while assuming ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Core Responsabilities: Support the Regional R2 R GBS Organization.
Liaise with R2 R BPO contact for non-routine R2 R finance processes and provide support where required.
Verify and process accounting documents.
Prepare non routine General Ledger journal entries.
Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.
Maintain Fixed Assets ledger.
Provide data and analysis for audit reasons.
Prepare financial reports including the investigation of variances and reporting of these to the R2 R Accountant.
Support Intercompany process.
Prepare weekly/monthly process overviews, work on process improvements.
Develop business/process knowledge and develop training materials.
Develop various control checks in processes and assist accountants during audit Ensure that all agreed KPIs are met or exceeded.
Assist Regional R2 R Accountant and Manager for KPI reporting.
Provide input to the training materials related to the business processes and systems.
Technical Competencies: Experience in roles specifically covering R2 R processes.
A basic knowledge and understanding of the mechanics in the R2 R process stream and how these fit into the end-to-end financial process environment.
Solid understanding of financial concepts, including reading and interpreting financial reports and financial statements.
