Your New Role
1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in cloud environments, utilizing technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and implement effective solutions that meet business needs.
3. Optimize data processing and storage for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
4. Ensure data integrity and security throughout the pipeline, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
5. Ensure best data modelling and transformation practices.
6. Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and data engineering practices, continuously improving our data infrastructure.
What You'll Need to Succeed
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on building data pipelines in cloud environments.
3. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
4. Proficient in structured query languages.
5. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS (App Flow, S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda), Azure (Data Factory), or Google Cloud (Dataflow, BigQuery).
6. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modelling techniques.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
