Job Description:
The Mercan Properties Group is responsible for developing real estate projects in the tourism sector in Portugal and currently has 31 projects across the country. We are recruiting for the role of HR Business Partner in Évora - Alentejo!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management recruitment processes for hotel units, ensuring the attraction and retention of talent;
2. Creation of job ads with the support of the hotel Managers and publication in different recruitment channels;
3. Search and selection of candidates;
4. Assist Hotel Managers in scheduling and conducting interviews as well as in the evaluation of candidates;
5. Map the recruitment sources of the surrounding area;
6. Maintain regular contacts with employment centres, schools, universities, and training centres;
7. Participate in job fairs and other events in the area of employment to attract candidates;
8. Serve as a support adviser to managers and leaders, providing support and guidance on HR issues such as conflict management, restructuring, and employment law;
9. Ensure the correct collection of data to support the process of hiring and payroll;
10. Guarantee that employment contracts are issued, signed, and sent to head office;
11. Management of contract renewals processes and exits and support to administrative management of admissions whenever necessary;
12. Control of the biometric system and train users;
13. Support for occupational health management;
Key Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or relevant work experience in the area;
2. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position or as Generalist Human Resources Technician;
3. Previous experience in hospitality area preferably in a shared service environment;
4. Rigor, attention to detail, responsibility, and autonomy;
5. Availability to travel between the various hotels in the Alentejo area, specifically Beja and Lagoa de Santo André;
