SFCOLAB – Associação SFCOLAB Laboratório Colaborativo para a Inovação Digital na Agricultura, by decision of the Board Directors, opens an international call to hire a Laboratory Technician - Agrotech, in the form of a fixed-Term Contract, under the Investment RE-C05-i02 – Missão Interface, submitted to the Notice No. 01/C05-i02/2022 and within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

Requirements

Education Level Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
* Graduation in scientific area relevant to SFCOLAB (e.g., Agronomic Engineering, Computer Science, Electrotechnical Engineering, or similar);
* Professional experience in Digital Agriculture, particularly in proximal monitoring;
* Sense of organization, method, and rigor;
* Strong ability for autonomy and initiative;
* Experience in technical client advisory services;
* Knowledge of Office from a user perspective, programming, statistics, and IT applications related to this thematic area;
* Proficiency in written and spoken Portuguese and/or English (C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference).
Specific Requirements
* Integrate and support the Digital Agriculture team, particularly in the Operational Department, and provide assistance to the R&D+I Department;
* Participate in the execution of ongoing annual plans, as well as in service provision and client support;
* Develop and assemble proximal monitoring sensor systems;
* Perform installations and maintenance of proximal sensors in the field;
* Promote the application of technologies and the development of services oriented towards the agricultural sector based on digital agriculture;
* Experience in drafting and presenting technical reports;
* Manage and plan orders, budgets, stocks, and prepare SOP documents.

Selection process
Evaluation Criteria:
* 50% Curriculum analysis, which will be analyzed according to the following weighting:
* 40% Training;
* 40% Experience;
* 20% Other skills demonstrated
* 40% Interview
Members of the Jury:
The jury will consist of two members of the SFCOLAB Board, the Executive Director and the Head of the SFCOLAB’s Operational Department.

* Portuguese Labor Code, approved by Law reference number 93/2019, from September 4th in its current version.
* Administrative Procedure Code, as published in Decree-Law reference number 4/2015, from January 7th in its current version (CPA).
Results:
The final result of the evaluation will be sent to all candidates via email. The SFCOLAB Association is free to fill the position or not, being able to suspend or terminate the process at all times, just to inform all candidates.
