The BIM Manager will oversee the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, data preparation and results validation for a Mobile Telecommunications Infrastructure (sites).
Responsibilities:
* Support project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring BIM-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.
* Establish BIM execution plans for a Mobile Telecommunications project, ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Preparation of existing data in CAD Designs or PDF to be used in the preparation of BIM files.
* Review and analyze BIM models for quality assurance, ensuring adherence to the Mobile Telecommunications Infrastructure project specifications and standards.
* Provide training sessions and/or training on the job to enhance team skills in BIM software and methodologies.
* Contribute to project documentation, reporting progress, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the Client regarding BIM-related inquiries.
* Suggest BIM strategies and progress to clients, ensuring transparency and understanding of the process.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in BIM management and implementation, ideally in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
* Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and an understanding of other related technologies.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
* Project management certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus.
* Experience with programming or scripting in BIM tools is an advantage.
