In this instance, we are on the lookout for a/an Project QA/QC Coordinator I / Deputy.
Support the Project QAQC Manager in all Quality Control activities and tasks for the projects, acting as Deputy Quality Manager on-site when required. Ensure compliance with local regulations, project standards, and established procedures, guaranteeing quality across all project phases.
Location: Sines, Portugal
Responsibilities:
1. Act as QAQC / Inspection Representative at the construction site.
2. Verify compliance with contractual requirements during the execution of construction, erection, and installation activities in terms of execution plan, delivery date, and manufacturing quality.
3. Supervise and coordinate the application of QA/QC procedures on-site.
4. Manage and update QAQC deliverables in applicable IT tools (e.g., EasyPlant, GAIA).
5. Analyze information provided by Construction Contractors and monitor KPI evolution.
6. Identify and report any QAQC deviations or issues affecting deliveries or quality, coordinating corrective actions and following up on their implementation.
7. Contribute to the technical evaluation of offers related to construction scope of work.
8. Assist in the preparation of Construction Contractors and Inspection Agencies performance evaluations.
9. Lead quality management on-site when necessary, ensuring proper implementation of project standards and procedures.
Requirements:
1. Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
2. Experience in related technical fields, preferably in construction and erection projects.
3. Experience in on-site quality management, including material control, welding, and NDTs.
4. Practical knowledge of applicable standards such as PED, ASME, API.
5. Ability to report compliance with standards and generate clear and precise reports.
6. Leadership and decision-making skills in on-site quality management.
7. Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written), Portuguese is a plus.
