**Job Title:** Fiber Technician
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fiber Technician to join our team at MEO-ALTICE in Luanda Province, Angola. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fiber optic network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot, install, and maintain cables, cabling, and fiber optics.
* Utilize advanced troubleshooting expertise to resolve complex issues efficiently.
* Develop and implement knowledge of cables and fiber installation best practices.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure excellent communication.
* Prior experience in the telecom industry is highly valued.
* Certifications in Fiber Optics or related fields are an asset.
Requirements:
1. Expertise in Cabling and Fiber Optics.
2. Advanced Troubleshooting skills.
3. In-depth Knowledge of cable and fiber installation.
4. Experience working with Fiber Optic technologies.
5. Excellent Teamwork and Communication skills.
6. Prior experience in Telecom is an advantage.
7. Certifications in Fiber Optics or related fields are beneficial.
