About This Role
We are excited to announce a new opening for a dedicated IT Buyer to join our international team in Porto. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to IT procurement operations in a large multinational organization.
This is an IT Buyer position that involves daily IT procurement operations, ensuring compliance with internal processes and fostering strong relationships with global and local IT suppliers.
Responsibilities
* Negotiate and manage contracts for IT goods and services, ensuring cost-efficiency and compliance.
* Act as a key escalation point for resolving contractual and performance-related issues.
* Foster strong relationships with global and local IT suppliers, managing performance and compliance.
* Utilize strategic sourcing and project management skills to ensure timely delivery of IT projects.
* Consolidate and analyze global procurement spend data for monthly reporting.
* Promote adherence to procurement processes and internal approval workflows.
* Provide commercial advice to internal stakeholders and support KPI and SLA development with suppliers.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Purchasing (Master's preferred).
* 2–3 years in IT procurement (hardware, software, or services).
* Proven experience in contract negotiations and supplier performance management.
* Familiarity with global IT environments and procurement processes.
* Strong analytical and data management capabilities.
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder relationship skills.
