We are looking for an International Management Controller
MAIN TASKS:
1. Organize and coordinate processes of Closing / Budget & Forecasts / Medium Term Plan and equivalents (guarantee timely delivery of quarterly and monthly reporting packages);
2. Oversight company results and key business drivers across International scope;
3. Foster a control framework to guarantee data quality, risk mitigation and client satisfaction;
4. Optimize towards efficiency, business continuity and a risk-free operation;
5. People management namely, assign workload, staffing, coaching, training, performance, motivate the team, ensure adherence to company and Group policies;
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:
1. Degree in one of the following areas preferably: Finance or Management Control;
2. Background in Finance, and between 8 to 15 years’ experience with management reporting or financial reporting in a multi-entity environment, acquainted with storytelling reporting packages across different phases of the financial cycle (ex: Budgets vs Forecasts vs Actuals);
3. Previous working experience in a function related to Management Control;
4. Master management control basis and finance concepts and processes (understanding of budget, forecasting and closing exercises organization, analysis of P&L statements, knowledge of accrual principles, preparation of financial reports and dashboards);
5. Good knowledge of IT tools & applications used by the team in line with job requirements (Excel as mandatory; Essbase, Tagetik or other management accounting tool is a plus);
6. General knowledge of the insurance field is a plus.
7. Proficiency in English is mandatory;
8. French is a plus;
9. Hybrid regime in Porto Office.
