We seek a Buyer to execute procurement strategies, optimize supplier selection, and contribute to saving targets.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring procurement automation and compliance with sourcing best practices.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?Execute and manage the tactical buying process for low- to mid-value purchases, ensuring compliance with defined thresholds.Identify suppliers from the preferred list, negotiate contracts, and finalize selections.Conduct eSourcing events in Ariba and negotiate purchase order terms.Support procurement automation by expanding catalogue coverage.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely tendering and meet SLAs with business units.Analyze and facilitate mid-value purchases while assisting category managers with high-value procurement.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Proficiency in English and German (spoken and written).Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field.Minimum 4 years of business experience in Procurement (sourcing execution, contract management, and procure-to-pay processes).Experience in one or more categories: IT, Professional Services, Marketing, or Facility Management.Proficiency in eSourcing tools (SAP Ariba preferred), analytics, and compliance management.Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.WHAT DO WE OFFER?Competitive salary, bonus, and benefits.Hybrid work policy and flexible working hours.Sports and work-life balance incentives.International and diverse work environment.State-of-the-art office space and conditions.Note: Candidates must be eligible for full-time employment in Portugal.
