Job Description:
The Artificial Intelligence Engineer is a member of the Siemens Cybersecurity (CYS) Defense team. The primary mission is to detect, analyze, investigate and defend against sophisticated cyberattacks.
* Apply advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently.
* Assess and translate Cyber Defense requirements into Artificial Intelligence use cases.
* Assess and translate functional and operational requirements into a detailed architecture.
* Build or integrate automation tools to deploy and monitor AI use cases.
* Collaborate and assist team members on the design, implementation and operationalization of AI use cases.
* Operate Big Data streaming/real-time/batch environments.
* Develop and deploy Cyber Defense AI use cases on top of Siemens CYS AI platform based on AWS, through CI/CD pipelines.
* Integrate AI use cases with advanced forensic tools.
* Interface with external entities in an operational environment.
Requirements:
* BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Typically, 3-5 years of successful work experience with multiple years in a related field or solid theoretical understanding of AI, Data Science or a related field.
* Extensive background in AI, Data Science and Statistics.
* Experience with modern Data Science frameworks; e.g. Amazon SageMaker, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, LangChain, end-to-end AI platforms.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow an execution plan.
* Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Requirements:
* AWS Certification degree is of advantage; e.g. AWS Solution Architect, AWS Developer, AWS ML specialization.
* Any other type of AWS knowledge is an advantage.
* Experience managing a Cyber Security investigation and understanding the methodologies for investigating and triaging is of advantage.
