About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Payments Officer to oversee automated and manual payment processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations, compliance requirements, and global payments processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Payments Lead in achieving objectives and improving processes.
* Process all payments, including manual and automated transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Coordinate with the Treasury Team to verify fund availability and prepare manual payment proposals.
* Investigate and resolve payment exceptions or discrepancies with stakeholders.
* Implement validation checks and leverage payment management systems to optimize workflows.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field.
* Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in payment processing or similar roles.
* Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA ERP and STP systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication skills.
