For which tasks (responsibilities)? Develop and maintain detailed game design documents, including gameplay mechanics, core loops, progression systems, and monetization strategies.
Design innovative and engaging features that enhance player retention, engagement, and monetization.
Collaborate with the art, programming, and production teams to bring game concepts to life.
Prototyping & Iteration: Create prototypes to test gameplay concepts and mechanics.
Gather and analyze player feedback to iterate and refine game features for maximum impact.
What kind of professional are we looking for? Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in the game development industry, with a proven track record of delivering successful game projects.
Experience working on one or more full-cycle game development projects, from concept to release.
Technical Skills: Game Design Principles: Strong understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and core gameplay loops.
Experience in designing levels, game systems, progression mechanics, and monetization strategies.
Tools & Software Knowledge: Proficiency in game design and prototyping tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or other industry-standard game engines.
Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Experience with documentation tools like Miro, Figma, or Confluence for wireframing and design documentation.
Technical Foundations: Basic understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Lua, Python, C#) to collaborate effectively with developers.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce) is a plus.
Art and UX Knowledge: Familiarity with visual design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and player onboarding best practices.
