Position Title: Operational Risk Quantitative Analysis Officer
Job Summary: Development, evaluation, review, adjustment, & implementation of operational risk models for management and capital allocation purposesDevelopment of frameworks/guidelines related to operational risk measurementIdentification and performance of operational risk analyses/measurements for other BUs, as neededResearch for technical inputs on operational risksPerformance of model monitoring of risk models developed outside of the departmentManagement of assigned risk management projects & other ad-hoc tasksInputs substantially to the Department's plans that will allow the unit to accomplish the tasks assigned to itHelps coordinate with other divisions of the Group as well as other units of the Bank to identify needed operational risk models & analysesExtends strong technical support to the design, structure, construction, review, adjustment, and implementation of operational risk models, and frameworks/guidelinesHelps inform on the requisite capital allocation corresponding to operational risks, consistent with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas requirements & Bank for International Settlements pronouncementsSuggests approaches & methods appropriate to tasks at handPerforms model monitoring and limited validation of risk models developed outside of the departmentHelps manage project-related processes within the GroupLends technical assistance to the other divisions of the GroupRole Exposure: Work on challenging and impactful projects that contribute to the Bank's growth and successParticipate in cross-functional teamwork, fostering collaboration and creativity, and receive personalized career coaching and mentoring to chart your professional growth pathEnjoy competitive perks and benefits that reward your hard work and dedicationQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Mathematics, Mathematics, Statistics, or any related field.Experience in insurance companies, particularly in roles within the Actuarial Department, demonstrating a solid understanding of insurance operationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to break down problems into doable tasksAbility to drive actionable insights through data analysisExperience in R or Python is an advantageOther Details: Rank: Junior Officer
