ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Evaluate product functionalities and performance based on market feedback
2. Conduct market research to determine market requirements for current and future products
3. Manage the product line life cycle from strategic planning to launching
4. Drive volume and value from specific markets in collaboration with the sales and marketing team
5. Define product functionality and requirements based on gathered data and business rules
6. Conduct UAT in terms of functionality and business requirements
7. Ensure that product features are working and experiences are improved
8. Understand customer needs through surveys, complaints, market and user research and data gathering
9. Drive improvements in user experience by working with the UX/UI Team
10. Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends and look for opportunities for improvement
11. Provide support to the Sales and Marketing teams by providing technical expertise and ensure performance standards and service levels are met
12. Work on integrations such as payments, logistics, tools, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering or other relevant course
2. Significant 5+ years experience in product development/management
3. Demonstrated experience in a product management role
4. Work experience in Product Design/Development in e-commerce, fintech, logistics, omnichannel and other similar industries
5. Designed and developed a product feature from E2E (Ideation, requirement gathering, writing product requirement, plotting road map, QA, Testing and launching, post mortem)
6. Self-starter, can work with minimum supervision, and is comfortable working in a startup environment
7. Able to communicate effectively with other departments and offshore teams
8. Familiar with agile development
9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
10. Open to challenges and willing to learn complex systems and processes
11. Strong interpersonal, relationship and communication, listening and negotiation skills
12. High attention to detail and can provide data analysis
13. Ability to drive work to completion with designers & engineers
14. Strong understanding of SDKs, APIs and other technology stacks in building products
15. Knowledge and practice in using product management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.
16. Experience in a startup work environment is preferred
