Job Summary: The Hotel Operations Manager oversees all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards in guest service, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage.
This role involves managing department heads, optimizing efficiency, and supporting the hotel's overall strategic goals in coordination with the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth coordination between departments.Supervise department managers (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, etc.
).Monitor service quality and implement operational standards.Analyse performance metrics and guest satisfaction to drive improvements.Manage operational budgets and control costs effectively.Support recruitment, training, and team development initiatives.Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with sales and marketing to drive revenue and occupancy.Requirements:Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).Proven experience in hotel operations management or similar roles.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Flexible working hours, able to adapt to the demands of the role.Portuguese and English languages (additional languages are a plus).
