This recruitment process is confidential.Job SummaryThe Junior Category Manager reports to the VP Capex Procurement & Project Engineering and is responsible for assisting sourcing activities for the capex procurements department. This role drives procurement excellence across various categories globally and ensures day-to-day interaction with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply of quality equipment. This role is also responsible for maintaining central systems and information databases, providing support to all users on using this system effectively, and ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures throughout the organization.Key tasks & ActivitiesSourcing:Establishment and implementation of global and regional sourcing strategies for the allocated categories.Data analysis and market research to evaluate Logoplaste’s position in the market.Development and internal alignment of key strategy measures.Setup of supplier panels based on strategy.Deployment of strategy into the region.Generation of synergies and savings using bundling and leveraging.Harmonization of processes, tools, and suppliers across the region.Manage capex procurement:Management of complex RFQs.Preparation of quote comparison (cost factor analysis, commercial analysis).Lead supplier negotiations for commercial and contractual aspects.Preparation and execution of sourcing committees.Alignment of joint decisions between all project participants.Client Relationship Management with internal stakeholders and local buyers in the plants.Database and PoliciesManage and maintain CPPE department's data systems.Ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date and shared with relevant stakeholders.Maintain SharePoint pages and internal PR.Capex procurementMaintain high levels of service to internal Logoplaste parties.Ensure internal KPIs are maintained for reaction and accuracy of RFQs.Communication within Logoplaste and external on-going projects and task requirements.Who we are looking for…Background and ExperienceDegree in mechanical, polymer, or electrical engineering.3-10 years of experience in manufacturing or automation.Previous experience focused on downstream and automation equipment.Technical SkillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel (mandatory).CIPS Diploma (is a plus).Knowledge of SAP (is a plus).Knowledge of Ariba (is a plus).Interpersonal SkillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively with suppliers.Logoplaste is committed to creating a workplace where you feel welcomed and cared for, where you can grow as a professional and as a person.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManufacturing and PurchasingIndustriesManufacturing, Packaging and Containers Manufacturing, and Plastics Manufacturing
