Description:
1. Analyze product margins, profitability, and cost optimization to provide ongoing support for commercial strategic decisions.
2. Prepare and monitor financial reports related to product margins, performance, and key financial indicators to support business strategies.
3. Collaborate closely with the global commercial team, particularly across Europe, to provide financial insights and support for commercial decisions.
4. Support Sales business plans/budget/forecasts activities, in adherence to given schedules.
5. Participate in the development of KPIs and implement continuous improvements in financial performance control, creating roadmaps to drive higher returns through a business period.
6. Conduct variance analysis, investigating discrepancies and recommending corrective actions, and follow up on identified risks & opportunities on a regular basis.
7. Support the implementation of new financial and commercial projects, aligned with global business strategies.
8. Act as the commercial team's financial partner, ensuring that market opportunities are maximized and profitability is guaranteed.
9. Ensure compliance with SOX controls regarding the review and reporting of long-term pricing agreements to guarantee adherence to revenue recognition guidelines.
Ideal Profile:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Management (a master's degree or advanced financial training is a plus).
2. 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in a multinational environment within the automotive sector.
3. Experience with ERP systems and financial analysis tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar).
4. Strong background in management control, with a focus on margins, product analysis, and decision-making support.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset and a drive for process improvement.
6. Ability to effectively communicate with global teams and international stakeholders, and successfully build working relationships.
7. Fluent in English (mandatory). German would be a strong differentiator.
8. Dynamic, adaptable, and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
