Adecco Recruitment is recruiting for a prestigious SSC, based in Porto, looking for a Controller (M/F), fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
1. Direct purchasing budget set up. Coordination with Regional Division Purchasing leader and their managers, Regional Direct Material controller.
2. Management of forecast (F1 and F2).
3. Management of Weekly Month end / Quarter Best Estimate to be provided to Corporate Purchasing Finance and Regional Finance.
4. Month end closing with comparison to Latest Best Estimate and Forecast.
5. Management of Direct Material KPI giving the necessary input for a global tool.
6. Input and analysis of the accruals to be posted on a monthly basis with granularity based on Accounting rule and Business Requirements.
7. Analysis of the performance at Divisional level but also at Commodity level.
8. Control of all purchasing performance declaration in terms of levers to rightly classify Purchasing performance.
9. Control of Accuracy of lump sum declaration with proper classification between Pure Lump Sum and Pricing retroactivity.
10. Financial Assessment of each supplier claim before discussion within the selected governance.
11. Check of consistency between claims and Internal 'Golden Rules'.
12. Check Consistency between claim financial impact and value included in Forecast / Best Estimate / Roadmap.
13. Proactive involvement of Accounting, Tax, Legal, Treasury in case of complex claim requiring input from Other Finance Department.
14. Follow up of claims execution once approved checking overall consistency of financial impact.
15. Business Support in case of complex claims requiring Legal, Tax, Treasury, Accounting, Cost Engineers support.
16. Energy protocols pricing application.
17. Analysis of Energy protocols in place with follow up of price amendment application on a timely manner.
18. Accurate follow up of market rates evolution in each selected European Countries.
19. Analysis of Roadmap declaration with the buyers with consistency about classification of the items (Implemented, Committed, potential).
20. Continues consistency check with Forecast or Target defined.
Profile:
1. Experience in controlling area.
2. Basic desktop skills (Excel advanced, PowerPoint).
3. Knowledge of SAP (plus).
4. Knowledge of finance and purchasing environment preferable with a plus if extended to Accounting, Tax, Treasury and Legal even if at basic-medium level.
5. Personal skills: Agile, organized, rigorous.
6. Ability to act with multitasking approach, set priorities in complex environments, and solutions oriented.
7. Rigorous and able to be goal keeper while supporting business with a solution oriented approach.
