Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
The candidate will be receiving and collating all requirements collected during meetings with OPC (Operational Permanent Control) teams, with the central Risk department of the bank, and with the department’s Business Analysts to ensure a holistic view is completed, and to define the best architecture and data model for a new application that will automate Operational Control tasks and connect to the Group’s main application to report on these tasks.
This candidate will then be responsible for translating these Business requirements into a robust Data Model.
Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for leading key Global initiatives. This role sits within the Client Engagement & Protect department, allowing for opportunities to explore other topics within Prime Technology and beyond.
Other responsibilities include:
1. Defining high quality technical solutions in line with bank architectural standards within constraints of current technology platform. This can include the exploration and implementation of new technologies with enhance product offering and provide a competitive edge.
2. Seek simplification and rationalization of the business, systems, and processes to improve straight-through processing.
3. Helping the development of a new platform whilst ensuring integrity of existing production processes.
4. Participating in all stages of development from high level design, estimation, through more detailed design, manage development, unit testing and delivery.
5. Progressing topics either autonomously or leading offshore developers, giving guidance, mentoring and further development of the team. Planning of resource usage in line with assigned budget and timelines.
6. Engagement with other BA/PMs to provide input into analysis tasks, and communication with business sponsors.
7. Progress monitoring, reporting and escalation to ensure adequate management visibility of progress, risks, and issues.
Qualifications
Technical skills:
8. Experience in Information Technology/Data Models/Project Management
9. Ability to consolidate and present concise updates to senior management/ stakeholders
10. Ability to self manage and take initiative in resolving issues
11. Experience interacting/coordinating across teams globally
12. Familiarity with deployment of applications, application releases, and environments
13. English – Expert
