Purpose of the Job
Process Accounts Payable (AP) activities in the Shared Service Centre (SSC).
Key Responsibilities
1. Handling processes in accounts payable;
2. Receipt and audit of invoices;
3. Enter, check and post invoices with and without purchase order;
4. Support in preparation of financial statements (month, quarter, year);
5. Execution of balance reconciliation, accruals, etc.;
6. Account maintenance;
7. Processing of Travel & Expenses (T&E);
8. Handling consignment stock clearing process and invoice postings;
9. Participation in continuous improvement projects;
10. Handling external and internal queries;
11. Provide support related to annual and interim audits;
12. Perform internal audit & regular controls.

Knowledge and Skills
* Desirable knowledge of IFRS;
* Knowledge of accounting standards in one of the following GAAPs: Portugal, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK or USA;
Functional/Technical Skills
* Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field;
* Good knowledge of English and another European language;
* Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office;
* Good analytical and organisation skills;
* Effective business writing and professional communication skills;
* Ability to work in an international global work environment.
Experience
* 2+ years of professional experience in finance and accounting or equivalent;
* Experience within a Shared Service Centre environment and transition;
* Customer focus: internal & external client, excellent service oriented;
