Wedding & Events Specialist of luxury high-end events company
Responsibilities in the role:
1. Maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of wedding/events by planning large programmes and increasing conversions.
2. Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue.
3. Manage an events schedule to maximise yield.
4. Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach.
5. Build strong relationships with clients to fully understand their needs.
6. Arrange and carry out venues show rounds and meetings.
7. Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events.
8. Participate in promotional activities.
The right candidate must have:
1. Minimum proven 2 years experience in F&B, Hospitality or events management.
2. Exceptional organisational and administration skills.
3. Positive attitude and good communication skills.
4. Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese written and spoken; other languages are an advantage.
5. Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
6. Willingness and availability to travel.
7. Team player.
8. Confident telephone manner.
9. High level of IT skills.
10. Excellent grooming standards.
11. Driving License and own car.
