About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer - Hardware to join our team in Portugal, Lisboa, Amadora. This is a full-time position that requires experience in industrial/power station control systems commissioning/setup/service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely production of engineering deliverables for assigned projects, contributing to the financial success of our organizational unit. Key responsibilities include:
* Performing hardware basic and detail design, expediting cabinet manufacture, and testing & implementing approved solutions
* Conducting design reviews, deriving corrective measures if necessary, and commissioning realized solutions
* Preparing power wiring drawings, loop drawings, and termination schedules, as well as earthing and shielding concepts
* Developing cabinet power consumption and heat dissipation calculations, and training in-house and customer personnel as required
To succeed in this role, you should have a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Automation, or Control Engineering, and experience with Omnivise T3000 or PCS7 or similar DCS system. You should also be proficient in English Language skills – spoken/listening, writing/reading (technical documentation, manuals etc.), and possess good communication skills and relationship building abilities.
We offer a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to split your time between remote and office work. As a Systems Engineer - Hardware, you can expect to travel to the UK and Ireland approximately 70% of the time.
