Your mission will be...
1. Guide, coach and motivate the agile team, spread across the globe
2. Focus on the needs of the team members and enable them to provide value to their customer/stakeholders with the goal of achieving results in line with the organization's values, principles, and business objectives
3. Act as a change agent in the team and the surrounding organization to help changing culture and mindset
4. Organize and facilitate the scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, etc.)
5. Remove impediments (issue identification and resolution)
6. Coach the project team applying agile principles and practices, help the team as a servant leader to grow and getting better - lead by example.
7. Facilitate collaboration within the team and clarify dependencies with other teams
8. Ensure that scrum and other relevant methods are understood and train them
9. Ensure governance, e.g. effort tracking within sprints using project management tools i.e. Polarion, Jira, SAP Solution Manager and documentation within Wiki (Confluence)
10. Guide the team to develop metrics and estimates, and periodically evaluate the process to become better in making predictions and reducing risks.
11. Participate in Communities of Practices (CoP) for Scrum Master to share experience within the organization.
We are looking for someone with...
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, economics or related field
2. Experienced and certified Scrum Master (ideally based on SAFe)
3. 3-5 + years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or other relevant role
4. Profound knowledge of agile principles and methods
5. Strong collaboration and team development skills
6. Not afraid to improvise when the situation warrants
7. Strong facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills
8. Strong organizational capabilities
9. Experience in working with virtual, globally distributed teams
10. You are a team player that likes to work in a multicultural environment
11. Written and spoken English on a proficient level; additional language like German is a plus
12. SAP or S4/HANA related agile project experiences
