**Job Title:** Financial Controller
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Broughton, UK.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the financial position of the "Buy in the Make" (BIM) cost base of Broughton plant, including procured items under operational and financial responsibility.
* Participate in the Broughton plant financial controlling team, reporting to the Head of Planning & Reporting.
* Collaborate with operational teams managing BIM within the plant and ensure regular alignment and co-working.
* Consolidate BIM top-level forecasts across European plants for central programme teams.
* Assess risks and opportunities related to Recurring Costs.
* Ensure corrective measures are implemented to achieve targets.
* Guarantee financial reliability and accuracy of Business Cases.
* Implement and conform to Finance processes, ensuring compliance with Internal Financial Control Standards.
* Promote financial awareness among operational management teams.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM and Broughton/Wing Controlling Processes.
* Act as an overall business partner to BIM operational teams and integrated member of the BIM management team.
* Manage, advise, and train early careers support to BIM.
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment on forecasting milestones.
* Prepare and submit multi-year Operative Plan and annual budget.
* Provide Robust Forecasting of RC costs against targets.
* Identify and assess financial Risks and Opportunities.
* Evaluate project appraisals and business cases to assist decision-making.
* Lead the team in identifying and securing business improvements and project savings.
* Propose and control corrective measures and action plans to mitigate risks and achieve opportunities.
* Monitor and challenge discretionary investment to ensure planned cash flows and NPVs align with approved Business Cases.
* Promote financial awareness and provide guidance to managers and their teams.
* Ensure consistency, transparency, and accuracy of all financial information.
* Maintain data integrity and guarantee accuracy of reported RC actual and forecast information.
* Comply with Airbus Internal Financial Control Standards and Ethics and Compliance.
* Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and deployment of new tools.
Requirements:
* Educated to at least degree or masters level.
* Experience in a relevant financial controlling or management accounting role.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Desire to work in a collaborative team environment focused on driving future innovation.
* Ability to communicate effectively with diverse finance and operational stakeholders.
* Self-awareness and a willingness to develop personally.
