About us:
Online Birds is a German Digital Marketing Solutions Agency dedicated to the hospitality sector. In the Development Department, we specialize in creating websites and web applications that enhance our client's digital presence.
Responsibilities:
* Website Development: Build and maintain using CMS platforms (e.g., Craft CMS, WordPress, or Drupal), PHP, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS.
* Client and Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and clarify project requirements.
* Design Collaboration: Work closely with designers to translate mockups into pixel-perfect, functional web experiences with great attention to design sensibility.
* CMS Management: Develop and manage websites on CMS platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and an intuitive user experience.
* Responsive Design: Ensure websites work flawlessly across all devices and resolutions.
* API Integration: Implement and maintain API integrations to enhance functionality.
* Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, error-free deliverables.
* Performance Optimization: Optimize code and design for speed and scalability.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments like SEO, Social Media, and Email Marketing for holistic digital solutions.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in Full Stack Web Development with a focus on CMS platforms.
* Proven experience with CMS platforms (Craft CMS preferred, but experience with WordPress, Drupal, or similar is acceptable).
* Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to discuss technical and design requirements with non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work effectively with designers, understanding their vision and translating it into reality.
* Strong sensibility to design, including typography, layouts, and user interfaces.
