Job Title: IT Buyer
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Buyer to join our international team in Porto. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to IT procurement operations in a large multinational organization, working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
* Negotiate and manage contracts for IT goods and services, ensuring cost-efficiency and compliance.
* Act as a key escalation point for resolving contractual and performance-related issues.
* Foster strong relationships with global and local IT suppliers, managing performance and compliance.
* Utilize strategic sourcing and project management skills to ensure timely delivery of IT projects.
* Consolidate and analyze global procurement spend data for monthly reporting.
* Promote adherence to procurement processes and internal approval workflows.
* Provide commercial advice to internal stakeholders and support KPI and SLA development with suppliers.
Requirements
We seek a highly skilled candidate with:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Purchasing (Master's preferred).
* 2–3 years in IT procurement (hardware, software, or services).
* Proven experience in contract negotiations and supplier performance management.
* Familiarity with global IT environments and procurement processes.
* Strong analytical and data management capabilities.
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder relationship skills.
