Job Title: Director of Public Relations
We are seeking an exceptional and results-driven Director of Public Relations to lead our luxury Four Seasons Hotel's public relations.
About the Role:
* Develop and execute an integrated, strategic annual plan for public relations and social media to align with the hotel's business objectives.
* Lead proactive and creative programs that identify and leverage unique, newsworthy opportunities to elevate the hotel's presence.
Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership
o Develop and execute an integrated, strategic annual plan for public relations and social media to align with the hotel's business objectives.
o Lead proactive and creative programs that identify and leverage unique, newsworthy opportunities to elevate the hotel's presence.
* Public Relations & Media Management
o Build and maintain strong professional relationships with local, regional and international media and influencers to generate consistent coverage.
o Pitch targeted story ideas, organize media visits, coordinate interviews, and host familiarization trips to highlight the hotel's offerings.
o Ensure timely posting of press releases and story starters on the Four Seasons Press Room.
o Act as a strategic advisor on reputation management, monitoring public attitudes and managing issues or crisis communications.
* Social Media & Digital Strategy
o Oversee and innovate the hotel's digital and social media strategy, curating engaging content that reflects our brand's DNA.
o Manage all property social media channels, increasing follower engagement and elevating the brand's digital presence.
o Actively co-manage the hotel's proprietary website, ensuring content is current, aligned with business goals and optimized for SEO.
o Collaborate on PPC campaigns, e-commerce initiatives, and digital storytelling to drive traffic and revenue.
* Collaborative Marketing
o Partner with F&B and Spa teams to design and execute promotional campaigns that support revenue objectives.
o Coordinate with third-party agencies, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maximizing opportunities for exposure.
o Manage content for third-party platforms and partner websites to ensure accurate representation of the hotel.
* Content Creation & Image Management
o Maintain a comprehensive image library to ensure consistent, high-quality visual representation.
o Oversee photo and video shoots, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
o Pursue and integrate user-generated content, collaborating with influencers and leveraging social media tools effectively.
* Community & Corporate Relations
o Lead community relations, CSR initiatives, and internal communications to strengthen the hotel's reputation as a valued community partner.
o Serve as a liaison with corporate communications teams, pitching stories and engaging in group-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in public relations, social media, or marketing communications, preferably within the luxury or hospitality sector.
* Strong media relations experience with established connections that deliver measurable results.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to create compelling narratives.
* Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, including photography and visual storytelling.
* Proficiency in leveraging social media platforms and analytics tools to monitor and optimize performance.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and excel under pressure.
* Expertise in SEO, PPC, and digital marketing strategies is highly preferred.
* Adept at collaborating with diverse teams and managing third-party agencies and vendors.
