Executive Corporate Director – Wellness Hotel in Azores (Half-Time Position) We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Director to lead our boutique hotel's early-stage construction and development. This role requires a dynamic leader with expertise in project management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful delivery of the hotel from concept to completion.
The Corporate Director will drive fundraising efforts, manage financial models, and construction budgets, and collaborate with investors, architects, contractors, and other key parties while maintaining a focus on financial viability and brand vision.
Key Responsibilities: Executive Business Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations of the company and management of corporate responsibilities for the business. Project Management: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the hotel's pre-construction phase, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met. Fundraising & Investor Relations: Provide regular, transparent updates to shareholders on project progress, financial performance, and strategic milestones. Lead efforts to secure capital through investor outreach, pitch development, and relationship management to fund project development and growth. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support decision-making, forecasting, and long-term planning. Create and maintain detailed financial models to assess project feasibility, ROI, and funding requirements. Budget Oversight: Oversee budgeting, cash flow, and financial operations, ensuring fiscal discipline and profitability. Develop, monitor, and manage construction budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with financial projections. Work with bookkeepers and accountants. Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate and oversee contracts with suppliers, service providers, and partners to optimize costs and quality. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning, safety, and hospitality standards throughout development and operations. Qualifications: ***Must be fluent in Portuguese. Proven leadership experience in hospitality, real estate, or a related field.Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and investment strategies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to navigate complex projects from preconstruction to operational success.Passion for boutique hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
