Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
You will play a key role in developing a secure and sustainable energy supply for the future through our new generation of air/water heat pumps for residential buildings. In doing so, you will make a significant contribution to environmentally friendly climate control in buildings.
As a senior software developer, you will be responsible for developing innovative concepts for the control and regulation of heat pumps, with an emphasis on mastering heat systems. You will have the freedom to explore and apply new control concepts and methods for the refrigeration circuit regulation, as well as to technically lead and take responsibility for the developed functions. Your expertise in heat systems will be essential to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed solutions. Additionally, you will support the team with technical questions and your own implementations. Verification of your functions through dynamic simulations, especially related to thermal performance, is also part of your tasks.
You will ensure that your solutions and methodology meet all requirements regarding quality, safety, adaptability, and scalability. For example, you will be involved in creating and executing automated unit and integration tests, focusing on the accuracy of the heat systems.
You will develop control concepts while considering modularity requirements to facilitate the adaptation of the control to other heat pumps, ensuring that deep knowledge of heat systems is applied in practice.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues at various development locations (primarily Sweden, Portugal, the Netherlands, and India).
