Responsibilities & Main Tasks:
1. Provide direction on all matters relating to computer control systems to operational line management in the designated Region.
2. Provide direction on computer control systems to FSO / FPSO's and Shore Bases, particularly Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) including Fire & Gas, Cause & Effect, and Package Systems, as and when required.
3. Implement effective controls to ensure ICSS and other software are maintained and protected against uncontrolled modifications and cyber-attacks.
4. Assist on all matters relating to control systems with Classification Societies, Clients, and Vendors.
5. Contribute to new projects in the Region through review of design documents and specifications to ensure good operating practice and expertise is incorporated.
6. Conduct personnel assessments and identify training necessary to assure competence of the control system personnel offshore according to the Company's established Competency requirements. Take corrective actions where required.
7. Analyze and collaborate with Fleet HR regarding the competency of all ICSS specialists offshore.
8. Coordinate Management of Change requests including major upgrades, major repairs, and overhaul works, and supervise and direct execution of the work as necessary.
9. Participate in reliability studies and help establish maintenance philosophies related to the ICSS.
10. Support Digital Project developments.
11. Develop, maintain, and manage onshore data application systems such as Osisoft PI, Matrikon Alarm Manager, and Control Performance Monitor.
12. Lead the implementation and maintenance of cyber-security systems and applications.
13. Provide technical assistance for Root Cause Analysis related to ICSS failures and recommend remedial actions.
14. Travel to offshore sites when required.
Requirements:
1. Master's or Bachelor's degree in control system and instrumentation technology or equivalent.
2. Minimum 7 years' experience as ICSS or Control System Engineer.
3. Oil and Gas industry experience mandatory (minimum 5 years).
4. Fluent in English (both written and verbally).
5. Knowledge of PCS7 is a must.
6. Familiarity with onshore data systems.
7. Functional Safety TUV (good to have).
8. Practical knowledge of Management of Change for ICSS modifications and Risk Assessment.
9. Proficient in Microsoft packages and familiarity with software-based maintenance systems.
10. Offshore survival and medical desirable/required.
11. Ability to travel internationally (short term), including offshore.
