We are looking for an experienced and driven IT Project Manager for 100% remote role in Portugal. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of high-impact IT projects.

Project Management Define, document, and deliver assigned IT projects with significant business impact while ensuring their successful transition into operations.Manage all project phases, including the preparation of Price Proposals, support for contractual packages, and contribution to procurement processes in line with NATO and Agency protocols.Monitor and control project risk, change, quality, scope, schedule, and resources to ensure successful completion within agreed tolerances.Provide accurate, regular project status updates and briefings as required.Requirements Management Drive scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization activities.Gather input and secure agreements from diverse stakeholders, negotiating to balance priorities and resolve conflicts.Establish requirements baselines and ensure traceability while adopting best practices for requirements management methods and tools.Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Act as the single point of contact for assigned projects under the direction of the Transition Manager.Support the development of long-term strategic stakeholder management strategies and plans.Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring consensus on operational requirements and their fulfillment.Risk and Business Risk Management Conduct risk management activities for medium-complexity projects to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.Involve specialists as necessary and define actions to minimize risks, enhance project confidence, and ensure objectives are met.Implement and maintain risk and business risk management practices, adhering to Agency processes.Contract Management Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and suppliers concerning contract management.Assist in the collection and monitoring of contract performance data to ensure service and delivery standards are met. Required Qualifications: Technical Skills and Experience Proven technical experience in deploying both Passive Network Infrastructure (PNWI) and Active Network Infrastructure (ANWI) for NATO installations and facilities.Strong familiarity with project management in complex organizational and infrastructure environments.Experience implementing project assurance and complex delivery processes.Extensive understanding of Agency procedures for monitoring resources, revenue, and capital expenditures.Professional Skills Skilled in defining, prioritizing, and managing requirements, with clear traceability and stakeholder negotiation.Comprehensive knowledge of risk management practices, involving domain experts when necessary to develop mitigation strategies.Expertise in change control, testing, quality assurance, and project reporting methodologies.Soft Skills Strong relationship management abilities, acting as a trusted liaison between teams and stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical objectives into stakeholder expectations.Demonstrated ability to manage diverse and strategic relationships effectively.
