They are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to join our team, supporting a major data center development project.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that all materials, equipment, and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
Role Overview: As the Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle, from supplier selection and negotiation to contract management and delivery coordination.
Working closely with project managers, site teams, and vendors, you will ensure that all procurement activities align with budget, compliance, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored to the data center project.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality and cost-efficient sourcing.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable agreements while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Collaborate with project teams to forecast material and equipment needs and ensure timely delivery.
Manage procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions and cost fluctuations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Optimize procurement processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements: Experience: 5+ years in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing, preferably within construction, data centers, or large-scale industrial projects.
Education: Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
Skills: Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction materials, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) procurement, and logistics coordination.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with procurement software and ERP systems.
Analytical Ability: Strong data analysis skills for cost management and forecasting.
Communication: Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing project needs and deadlines.
