We are looking for a Trade Reconstruction Control Analyst
MAIN TASKS:
* Identify scope of trades and explain the full history of trades with associated records to comply with regulatory obligations (CFTC within 72 hours).
* Perform ongoing trade life cycle reconstruction for all swap products, from pre-trade communication to trade expiration stages.
Data Sourcing
* Extract and integrate data from multiple sources to meet business objectives.
Data Preparation
* Gather, structure, analyze, transform, and combine data to support the Trade Reconstruction team using various business intelligence and analytics tools.
* Conduct self-initiated trade reconstruction simulations to practice and refine trade life cycle reconstruction skills.
* Translate data into visual formats (e.g., Power BI) to help stakeholders better understand large data sets.
Collaboration with Internal Clients
* Collaborate with internal clients to understand operational and strategic needs, ensuring the trade reconstruction process aligns with their objectives.
Process Improvement
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and minimize risks.
Training and Knowledge Sharing
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to support other teams and improve their capabilities.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:
* Bachelor's degree (3-5 years) in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
* Banking and Financial Operations: 5-7 years of experience in the industry.
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Power BI (Beginner-level data visualization and analytics skills).
* Proficient in using JIRA for project management and tracking tasks.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Hybrid role based in Porto.
